who has done the bumper swap?

who here has done the late plastic bumper swap onto the early cars?
jordan makes it out to be almost inpossible but i know it cant be that hard, he just likes to make stuff sound that way so he can stay original.
of those who has done it, how tough was it?
how long did it take you?

I did it...it was easy. Took maybe two days, and I wasn't working at it constantly.

convertables dont require modifications to the rear bumper

care to help me out with some more info nick?

The whole front end is a straight swap, but if you have an early model car, you need to do some simple wiring work. With the rear, you need to trim down the newer style bumpers, and make about a 1/4 inch indentation (which won't be visible) to your rear quarter panels. You need the bumper shocks, the bumpers, the late model front valence, and the bumper bolts....but it's really not that hard. Looks 100% better in my opinion.
