Not that i have anything against MS or think it couldn't take it...but i would really like something that controls spark too.

I was just hoping somebody wouldn't mind sharing their experience with some other systems?

I am now assembling my parts but still haven't decided what to do for engine amangment. :(

im using split second and msd btm (not needed at 7 psi) im just not good with wiring thats why i havent messed with megasquirt. but for the money megasquirts is the best i think. unless you got the money to standalone tec3,motec,haltech...

google megasquirt'n'spark; there's an ignition controller add-on (well, a few different ones, actually) for megasquirt.

"MegaIgnite" - a page about ignition alternatives with MegaSquirt
http://home.earthlink.net/~jcgebhart/megaignite.html

Very enlightening.. also visit http://www.msefi.com/ for some up to date information on "MegaSquirt II" which is an add-on chip that adds lots of nice features.

Just to clarify what I am looking for

I personally am looking for a speed/density fuel and ignition control system that I can hook up to a laptop or any computer.

I really like the look of SDS but the price is incredible and the lack of a computer interface is disappointing to me.

I have been to, or tried ot go to, most of the big dogs websites (DTA, motec, etc...) and been thouroughly dissapointed in what they have to support their own products. I was hoping somebody on here either uses one of these "hi-end" systems or has experience using one?

thanks guys
