Would anybody be interested in having a meet where everybody will be cruising through teh canyons for sure? Nothing personal against anybody from the meet on Saturday, but I just really want to drive my car with other E30ers, it's been too long!
I was thinking maybe Angeles Crest Highway (ACH), that place has some very nice sweepers, very easy going!
Bring up some suggestions, and I would like to have this before I leave, maybe sometime during the week?

I would be interested.
I have seen your car before on Magnolia and 405. At least I am sure it was you, As I don't think there too many cars like yours running around that area.
Very nice ride, I was very impressed.
Anyways I will cruise in the canyon. My suspension is stock and in good shape.

I'm game, but in the Z3. You guys know where Cooks Corner is? That's a very nice road, but only 4 miles or so.

I know where that is.
Good area. What's the fastest you've ever gone there?
Don't you love how you can cruise going 100mph. :D

for true meet style, ortega is where its at. Awesome look out points, huge turn out for lots of cars to park and so many photo ops. Also ortega is in the top ten most dangerous roads in cali. So you know its super sweet.

I meant 85 mph in the canyon, not in straights. The car drives like it's on rails. I'll take some pics tomorrow.

Was definetely mine. I am around there all the time, I used to live in FV and moved to HB recently. I have tons of friends in FV. You should come out to meets or something.
BTW: Cooks Corner = waaaay too short, its that crappy run off of Santiago, right?

Yeah, cooks corner is very short, but it's almost my backyard. I haven't done ortega yet, that would be fun. We could drive to Thousands Oaks area for some sweet canyons. Dan (the guy who sold his e30 to Chris) lives right there, I know he'd be down for a meet.

you guys should do a spring break roadtrip through southern utah, particularly the moab area. Check out this pic of a road side warning sign I took there:
