For those of you running t4's, let me know what you think of this compressor and housing!

I have a T3 super60 for those who don't know already.. .48 exhaust turbine stage one million.
boosts 12 psi no problem, but i would like ot raise the effeciency of the compressor to reduce the charge temps..
thanks in advace,

Turbonetics says a t04E is the compressor you should be using for more than 250hp. I'd say it's too small...and you may as well go bigger in the beginning so you don't have to keep upgrading. If you want fast spool...I'd get a To4E 50 trim....or if you want a little more efficiency...and don't mind the extra lag...get a 57 or 60trim. m 57 trim spools plenty fast...3K full boost. Of course i have a .48 stage III exhaust housing/wheel.

will a .48 A/R w/.50 compressor trim fall off to early?
Should i look for a higher aspect ratio? does a higher aspect ratio cause it to spool slower?
Thanks,
p

I am running a T04E 50t, .58. Love it. Spools a little slow but makes good butt dyno power. I am hoping with my new manifold and boost controller I will spooling a few hundred faster which is all I need to be perfectly happy.

Im planning on upgrading the compressor to a T04E 57 or 60 Trim .60 A/R and use it with my current On-center T04 Turbine .58 A/R P-trim. You guys think this is a good combo ?

sounds good to me stakanic. BTw...havn't seen you post for a while...where have ya been?
And to Petercip....My .48 stage III doesn't fall flat like a stage I .48. It's not optimal...but i get plenty of pull to redline. I would get a .63 stage III though if i were you. It probably doesn't spool much later...and will flow better than a .48.

Screaming,
I kind of laid off the project for a while, was sucking up too much money :)
I'm also waiting for a laptop i bought to arrive to install my MS, and the damn thing wont arrive...i think i got shafted or got lost in the mail #-o, ill have to contact ebay or something. Also i had to swtich back to the OEM ignition because the Electromotive's crank sensor got loose and it got a bit chewed up by the crank wheel, and the car start somehwat missfiring and it got too annoying. Plus i've been wanting to upgrade my compressor housing for a while now, and havent been able to find one.
I'll keep you all updated if something new happnes. :)
