that oil pressure sensor that is in the side of the block at an angle i cant get out. i think its 7/8s or an inch. i cant get a socket to fit or wrench.
it turns out that my car is leaking oil straight out the sensor. not around it there is actualy oil coming outa the little metal plugs.
what size is the nut? and how do u reconmend i remove it?

They sell sockets for the sensor similar to an o2 sensor socket.

I broke the plastic connection off when I removed it since it made it easier to get to. Unfortunately, you can't do that when you install it so make sure you have the right wrench. I used a thin closed ended wrench. Some spark plug sockets will also fit.

yes. its hollow, so the sensor can crack and leak.

Take the new one with you to the store when you buy the tool and find the thinnest one you can. The problem you usually run into is that the open end won't fit between the sensor and the block when you try to tighten it, hence the use of a closed ended wrench. However, some close ended are too thick to allow you to fit it between the block and sensor bolt portion. This is one of the reason that a thin walled socket is a good bet, but make sure its thin.
