I'm just talking HP here..

I have the chip, triflo, stock air box K&N, 288 schrick.. I was thinking if I make it to the bavauto show&shine this year I would get there programable chip for $500.

How easy is the bigger injectors and afm set up?? I need more power for my cam. Headers are not in the budget right now..

Also what about this msd ignition thing that I see on almost every modded car now a days??

$75 shipped. they are like $160new.

Whether you have a powerful street machine, hard working truck, or trick Street Rod, the multiple sparks of the MSD 6A CD ignitions will ensure complete combustion. Bolt one on and look for quicker ETs, easier starting, reduced plug fouling, more power, and increased fuel economy. They'll work with virtually any 4, 6, or 8-cylinder vehicle with a distributor, as long as it has a 12-18 V electrical system. They can be triggered by breaker points, magnetic pickup, or the output of an electronic amplifier.

hahahahaha, that sounded so funny!! Jason is hilareous!!! lol! :D

The AFM it's pretty simple, just swapp the board cicuit in the bigger AFM, re tune it if is needed and the injectors are piece of cake, just disscoent both fuel line, in/out, took out the 10mm bolts off take out the locks of the injectors, (clips), disscoenct the injectors from the fuel rail, take the fuel rail out by pulling from the front of the engine, install the new injectors first, with out the fuel rail, and the tap the fuel rail above the injectors once are int he intake manifold.

I did it severeal times, takes about 30 mins at most do it, pretty easy!

I've probaly lost near 400lbs now.. at least

(All ac, carpets, seats, interior panels and console, spare&jack, lots of tar from the interior) and more I think..

How bout engine management........with the mods you've done, a chip is not going to be able to tune it all for max gains.

I used the Unichip piggyback unit and highly recommend it to anyone. I've seen nothing but great gains from the system. It gave my stroker engine another 15rwhp & 15rwtq.

Links are below to their HQ & their US site.....

Would the expensive bavauto chip do the same??

It cost me US$500 for the unit, installation, 2 dyno runs (before & after), tuning on the dyno......I'm sure the price is different in the US though.

No chip will be as good as the Unichip piggyback unit, since the engine is not tuned while on the dyno at every 1000rpm.

best time to date a 13.7 @ 105.5, that was on the old setup. (small broken turbo, small charge pipes, less boost, and street tires.)

i have never run the 1/4 and my car is def gutted alot.

So my 12.960s 1/4 isn't too bad then.
A good descent time to improve on.
I'm still kind of disappointed I didn't run mid 12's (that I figured I should be able to) but I don't think the engine was 100% even before the pulls. At least I made it into the 12's.
