I have a 40 series Flowmaster on my 325es. It is a little louder than I would like but the tone is great. If I was to do it all over again, I would probably get a 60 series.

whats the difference in sound between the '40 and '60 series? Is there plenty of room to fit these mufflers (I know the stock muffler is large).

yes theres plenty of room.

difference in sound? well i think the 40 series is deeper because it was meant for v8s. the 60 is meant for imports i believe with smaller engines, so its not as deep. i have a clip of my 60 if you want to hear it.
