Anyone know what all needs to be done to put a 89 into an 87????

Same engine yes ! but plug and play nope ! Different rad hoses , and the wires at the ECU are a bit different ! But not hard to figure out ...

Same engine yes ! but plug and play nope ! Different rad hoses , and the wires at the ECU are a bit different ! But not hard to figure out ...Do I need a 173?

I put a 88is into my 87is and this is what I found different ,
the tach did not work or the econo gauge !
Spliced these wires like in 3rd pic and they work .. 89 may be different ?
The code function in the OBC didn't work but I run a Alpine alarm with ignition kill and a extra hidden switch and 2 ear pearcers !
Hope this helps , with the amount of online e30 electrical diagrams you should have no prob !
