Blue is usually the color of your windshield washer fluid.
I hope you'll be replacing that hose soon.

i will, it will be a project to do this weekend. Now let me fish out 40 bucks

It's $40 for a hose!?!?
Go to a junk yard and get it, like $5!
or if it's just ripped at the tip, cut that section off so it's new again.
Wow, didn't know that the hoses were THAT much. geeze......

$40 seems abit steep, which hose is it? I wouldn't bother going to a junk yard to get a hose, as they get old and break.

You would think that, but I get all my parts from the junk, from fuel pumps to valves..
If they're rips just don't get it.
It would be better if the actual nipple is cracked like the thurmastat housing or the port in the head because you can just J/B weild :)

i dont know which hose it is, all i know it's one of the large coolant hoses that lead from the radiator to the head. It is ripped at the tip. You guys think i can just cut off the tip and put it back on?

For sure :)
If it's just at the tip, cut the riped section off, and reconect..
