Default Rear camber and toe correction

I am currently running Bilstein Sports with IE Stage 3 springs. I went to go get an alignment after new control arms, tie rods and bushings. The mechanic there told me that I should get the rear camber and more importantly the toe fixed. I guess I can rotate my wheels more often, but I am sure it still eats away my Falken Ziex 512 quicker than a stock suspension setup. What is the quickest, and maybe cheapest way to correct this? Of course the best is to get adjustable or offset rear bushings. I was thinking about M3 rear springs, or just adding more/thicker spring pads. Is it ok to mix match different spring rates on e30's? Thanks in advance.

Just to add, this is my daily driver, so it gets quite a bit of miles everyday so I want to get this fixed as soon as I can.

I am in the process of getting IE's camber kit. They have a toe kit as well but I decided that I dont need it. The kit is a couple little plates you weld to the subframe and they have offset bolts. I've probably put about 5000 miles on my tires and they are already going bald on the insides. You can check it out at IE's site bmw2002.com

Kenji:

Why don't you tell us what your rear camber and toe settings are so we can suggest what you might need to do to fix them?

For instance:

I have H&R sports and Koni sport SAs on my iX. I added thicker spring pads in the rear to offset the drop [provide a little forward rake], decrease negative camber changes and prevent excessive toe out.

As is :

R camber is: -1.7 degrees
R toe is about 1/16" toe out.

Ideally, I want zero or some toe in and less negative camber but not going to happen unless I buy and install adjustable R trailing arms bushings or the combination toe / camber kit that several aftermarket vendors sell.

*note: alignment settings are different for the iX. E.g. barely 1-2 degrees of caster in F struts where regular E30s have 6 or 7 degrees? Is due to design of F strut towers more than anything else.

Oops, forgot to add... For the caster, is it correct to assume that it will not affect much of the tire wear? I have M3 offset bushings installed now, and I love them! (The above alignment numbers are after I installed the offsets)

So the best thing to do is spend the money and get a rear adjustable kit?

Well only "kit" that I know of is the Ireland Engineering ones.

I was wondering if thicker springs pads will do any changes for the rear in my case. Does anyone have any for sale?
