brewerkz has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Default catalytic converter heat shields

The heat shields have deteriorated beyond repair - no longer able to clamp or wire wrap in place.

Since heat shields are not available for this cat, can I wrap the cat with Ti tape used on headers, etc?

The other option is to add heat shield to the bottom of the car to reflect the heat off.

Why not get another set of heat shields from a junkyard? Will be cheaper and be much cleaner.

I think he is talking about the shields attached to the cat itself, not the tunnel shields

I wouldn't wrap them in tape, it will trap moisture to the cat. If you have your tunnel heat shield still in place just cut the shield off the cat and be done. Unless i am missing something.
