waiting for the postal strike to be over, then my parts should arrive in a couple days. We'll see. I'll take some pics of the lemforder and OCAP side by side.

Got my lemforder and ocap rods in a few days ago, they look basically identical. The bends in the end are close and the joints are very similar. The ocap inner ball has a graphite looking grease in it and its really stiff. Both outer joints feel good and tight. Will post pics when my internet is working again.

If you have the money go with genuine BMW at Pelican parts. These will be highest quality.

If your not rich - I would go with Lemforder or Meyle - Avoid OCAP and URO

Both can be found here:

I always go with Lemforder but I can't find them for the iX; those ones on FCP aren't the iX spec -039 & -040 parts.

I always avoid URO too, is OCAP of the same quality (or lack thereof)?

ECS has MTC iX-spec tie rods @$60/side. Anyone have experience with the MTC parts?

That is so weird - I did not catch the part number difference.

32111126360

RealOEM states it will work on the Euro 325ix..

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/part...360&series=E30

I wonder why it works for euro and not US?

All I see is Ocap and Genuine BMW too..

now this is weird...

http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/E3...rowse/steering

for a euro iX it is showing three different tie rod parts diagrams with two being 039/040 and then one with the 360 and 32 11 1 125 186.

that last tie rod diagram does say "Supplement With steering damper Only applies to airbag" wonder if it's a different rack or something? the knuckles are all the same. possibly for a factory manual rack?
