I dont know how serious you are but that is a thought.
That doesn't sound like a bad idea. I don't think I'll be spending $349/wheel anytime soon, but it's good to know I have the option later on down the road. Thanks.

As for R compounds, as others have mentioned, Hoosier or Khumho, no question. The A032r's are a good wet track/DE tire, but are not nearly as grippy as the other two on a dry autox environment, and cost a good bit more than the kumhos.

Yeah, I was about to add the same thing. I just picked up a cheap set of stock basketweaves and as soon as my car is done......Azenis will be ordered. Should be a good setup to start out on. Then I can move up to Ronals and 225s or R compounds......or maybe 16x7.5 K1s or something. But I like Ronals too, and no spacers which are nice. Who knows. But now isn't the time I need to worry about the lightest, widest, or best wheels.

I was flirting with the item of Euro weaves for a while, but just ended up getting 14" ones. You'd be game with some Azenis on your Ronals. Ronals would be worth it more than Euro baskets, but they are a fine wheel IMO since pretty nice weight, style, and good offset. Go Ronals. Go Ronals.

As of right now, that's the plan.

I'm going to see how the Kumhos(tires currently on ronals) hold up on March 20th(1st auto-x). If they're grippy enough for me as a beginner, then I'll stick it out with them until they're finished.

I guess so! Actually, I needed tires before spring and I got these at a great price. So why not, before they get discontinued?

From what I've seen, though, the only 16" size for the new ones will be 205/40-16's and I needed bigger tires than that. So I got them while they are still available.

Falken Azenis RT-615.

Also, Chris, the Vulcan Tires website has (or will have) 225/50ZR15's. So maybe you could get the RT-615's instead, when they come out.
