Never hit on mine. Did you clean the holes out really well before putting them in?

cleaned them out well yes, really well maybe not. chased twice iirc and cleaned with wd-40 cleaned out with rag. but this was 5 years ago. i think the new vc gasket is thinner and causing all the issues.

i had the hard plastic type one, and now went to the softer flexible one with the red seal around the exterior.

Hmmmm, the one with the red seal is the same one I always ran too.

just something to be aware of. i found 1 other mention of this from John at WOT tech. maybe the early blocks didnt get bored as deep.

Threw some oil mats underneath it last night.

So it seemed to drip about a 1/4 of a quart over the last week or so. what ever i have no time and oil is cheaper right now.

Got my turn signal switch installed, no smoky smoky yet.

Was about to go tune and then realized my nylon oil pressure line broke again (3rd time). Went to the store to get the copper crap and got side tracked on the e39 twisted seat which is taking forever.

as for the oil line, im thinking of just running a -4 line from my tee to the sensor. any objections? dont want copper but may just do that for the next race.
