i finally got my PCM in and......

SHE RUNS!!!

And yes for the question on the vortec being a LS1..... its in the same family, everything bolts right up. the Vortecs just have a better flowing head and smaller displacment.

My buddy has a camd up 98 z28. he wants to run me. haha. hell get me at this time, but give it time ill be quicker.

Right now im having issues with the tranny. Its from a LT1 trans am, and it bolts up just fine but i think they used different things then the LS1 so i might have to get a differnt tranny.

For this motor ( and ill post videos up later ) but when i start it its rumbley... but when it sits there and idles its damn quite. Till i step on it. haha. i just have a 3" straight pipe on it.

It sounds so bad ass and beefy!

Well im going to go pick up a new tranny. One that fits directly and is meant for the LS1 based motors. So ill be picking that up, and hopefully i can find a stock stall. i would go with a bigger one, but hell i can barely stick to the street with the stock stall i have.

I have some videos up later on seeing how the car runs and when i get the tranny up.
The car likes to sty sideways now. haha

Ooh baby. Get the corner weights for us? I wanna see how the weight distribution works out. Since it's an aluminum block, it ought to still be pretty light and I don't think it'd throw off the weight distribution which makes these cars so fun in the twists.
