Yes but Aluminum could be expensive. so to keep the cost down steel might be the way to go. I would have to get some prices around to see what it would actually cost to make some of these.

I guess you could make it thinner out of steel........and possibly swiss cheese it.

it isn't about weight if you can keep the cost of supercharging lower. Power > weight.

I don't have an m50 but my vote is for steel if you want a product you can sell and will help more people since aluminum would likely be more costly by a large amount.

yeah thats exactly what Im thinking. I think steel would really be the way to go and If I could get enough people in on it I could prolly get a deal on powdercoating.

Equalizedcustoms is pulling a 325e motor tomorrow so Im going to see if I can get that for mock of the bracket. My charger will be here next week so maybe we can make this happen for M20 guys also.

I will stop into the machine shop and get a basic idea of what it will cost to get the brackets cut. I should have some good info by next week.

I would be able to help you out with the whole m20 mock up thing but I'm in Atlanta. I'll definitely be interested in either plate though.
