Default M50 swap E21 tranny mount part number question

I am doing an M50 swap in my E30 and im going to use the 535 motor mounts and i want to use my getrag 260 trans. My question is about the E21 tranny mounts. I have been looking at real oem and there seems to be two different part numbers. One number is for early mounts and the other is for later.
23711109173 (early)
23711175424 (later)
Is one mount stronger than the other and which one is the best to use for my swap?
Thanks

I use the later ones in all of my swaps.

Wish I had your knowledge Justin, things would def go a olot quicker. Taking it slow right now however. Also, I work in the car business, so my life is consumed by work.

Knowledge is earned. You learn from doing. I'm good at what I do, but when it comes to school like history and grammar I struggle.

I found when I worked doing mechnics I never wanted to work on my stuff when I got home.

Exactly why I am so happy to be doing something else for the time-being.

Are the E21 mounts taller than the E30 ones. The reason I ask is that I had to shim my drivers side motor mount about 1/2 inch, my drivers side trans mount lines up perfect in my modified brace but its stretched out pretty good if I tighten it. Also there isnt enought thread to shim. Thanks

^^I know that the IE urethane E30 trans mounts work with the swap. So dimensionally, they should be close at least.
